CO-FOUNDER TESS CROSLEY

Brisbane entrepreneur and co-founder of Evella Health, Tess was inspired to create her own range of female hygiene products.

“After years of buying overpriced pads & tampons I finally bought my first menstrual cup 3 years ago and haven’t looked back since."

“Menstrual cups are changing the game. Not only are they more affordable in the long term, but also more comfortable, more eco-friendly and just easier for that time of the month.”

Tess is very passionate about women’s health as she is a long-term fighter of Endometriosis, PMDD (PreMenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) & Ovarian Cysts. She believes that using her menstrual cup during “that time of the month” has helped the discomfort of her health complications.

“After years of telling all my friends to buy a menstrual cup, I decided to create my own range of female hygiene products as it is something I am very passionate about."

"Also being able to give back was something I wanted to make the large focus of our company for those women in developing countries who don't have basic access to products."

 CO-FOUNDER JORDAN BENNALLACK

Brisbane mum and co-founder of Evella Health, Jordan has always been passionate about women’s health and philanthropy. This has inspired her to help women throughout the world, no matter the circumstances.

“I’ve always been a big believer in philanthropy and giving back. Unfortunately there are women in the world who don’t have the same privileges as I do and I’m passionate about using my own opportunities to help them. Having donated a portion of my personal income for the majority of my life I really wanted to encapsulate that same mentality through Evella Health.”

On top of co-founding Evella Health, Jordan is a mother of two young children with a third on the way. Experiencing pregnancy and child birth has increased her knowledge of women’s health and given her a desire to share that with others.

“Women’s health is very important! We as women lead busy lives and often our own health and comfort is put on the back burner, when it should really be a priority. Creating a menstrual cup has given me an opportunity to look after my body while on my period but in the most effective and efficient way, allowing me more time to spend with my children and increasing my overall quality of life. Of course that’s something I want to share with others!”
